Detail history shows corrections to mistaken information on earlier entries. You can compare what was there before with what it should say, read why the repair was made and check whether it succeeded.
Begin with Status. This history includes unfinished corrections and changes that were reversed as well as those successfully applied, so replacement wording by itself does not confirm that the original entry changed.
Read the result of a correction
Find the Correction number you used on Correct details and read Status first. If it says Applied, compare the old detail with the replacement and read the reason for the repair.
If it says Pending, keep ordinary entry stopped and run the action again on that same Correct details row and number. If it says Rolled back, the old detail was restored. Read Review detail to find the entry that needs attention before making a new correction.
This page shows the result of correction work. Leave the displayed cells unchanged and return to the original correction row when you need to finish an interrupted action.
Correction number
This is the number or short label you entered on Correct details. Use it to find that same correction row, including when the action was interrupted. Keep this number when trying the action again; a different repair needs its own number.
Status
Applied means the repair was accepted. Pending means it did not finish; run the same action on the same correction row again. Rolled back means another entry no longer passed its checks after the change, so the tool restored the old detail.
Read Review detail when attention is needed. Always check Status alongside the replacement text, because unfinished and reversed corrections are shown here too.
Page
This is the tab containing the original mistaken entry. It helps you find what was repaired. The correction shown in this history explains a change to that entry; it is not another receipt, production or use.
Record
This is the reference to the original entry chosen for repair. Depending on the Page, it can identify a stock, activity, use/loss entry or a particular individual Stock note. For a note, Correct selected note prepares this reference so the correction concerns that observation rather than every note on the same stock.
Read it with Page, Field, Previously recorded and Correct value to understand the repair. It does not give stock another number or move an observation to different stock.
Field
This names the one detail chosen for repair. Read it with Previously recorded and Correct value so that you can see exactly what was meant to change. The correction does not replace every part of the original entry.
Previously recorded
This is what the chosen detail said before the correction. Keeping it visible lets you compare the old information with the replacement. Read Reason for why it needed changing and Status for whether that repair was accepted.
Correct value
This is what the corrected detail is meant to say. Check Status beside it: Applied confirms the repair. On a Pending or Rolled back row, the replacement can still be displayed here even though it has not become the accepted detail on the original entry.
Reason
This is the recorder’s explanation for repairing the detail. It should tell you what was wrong and why the replacement was chosen. Read it as the explanation of a correction, rather than as a separate stock loss, movement or production event.
Recorded by
This is the person or team named when the correction was entered. It gives colleagues someone to ask about the repair. The name was entered by the recorder rather than filled automatically from Google sign-in.
Recorded on
This is when the correction was recorded. It is separate from the date of the farm work being repaired. Correcting an earlier entry today does not mean that its original work happened again today.
Review detail
Read this when the result needs attention. For Rolled back, it explains which other entry stopped passing its checks; the old detail has been restored. Resolve that cause before making a new correction.
For a correction still Pending, return to the same row and number on Correct details and run the action again. Keep ordinary entry stopped until the unfinished correction is resolved.
